Early Voting Pilots For The November 2023 Election
In November 2022, the voters of Michigan overwhelmingly passed a constitutional amendment that provides the right to vote early before each statewide and federal election.
While early voting is not required for the November 2023 election, we are thrilled that communities like Delta Township, East Lansing, Lansing, Marquette, Westland, and parts of Oakland County will be piloting early voting in this election.
Below you will find answers to common questions about the early voting pilots:

Why are these pilot programs important?
Early voting provides voters with more options when it comes time to cast their ballots, making voting more accessible for busy Michiganders. By piloting early voting now, communities like Delta Township, East Lansing, Lansing, Marquette, Westland, and parts of Oakland County are providing us with opportunities to learn from this new process and then fine tune it ahead of next year's busy election cycle.
